Uruguay is predominately agricultural and livestock producing.
Dairy production is well supplied locally so the focus will be on the export market. There is a high international demand for milk powder, cheese
and other by-products of milk.
The project will be designed around increased milk production while allowing the cattle to be free range; thus reducing stress levels in the
animal. This system will be researched into how it could increase milk production.
An Agricultural College linked to a top European Institution, will be built to educate/train up to 200 students annually to an accepted
international qualification. An exchange program will be put in place between the two countries so that students can share husbandry skills
and farming styles utilized. This agricultural college is to increase employability of young people in the country who do not go onto tertiary
education.
3000 hectares of land will be utilized for fodder production.
