Viral Health Research Centre

Working in conjunction with Professor Babikian, an internationally respected immunological researcher, who has studied extensively the impact
on humans eating food from animals that have been given antibiotics within feed and vegetable/grain sprayed using chemical means.
Little is known about the impact of human ingestion of antibiotic contaminated foods. As the World demands on food production increase; so
methods to ensure mass production are developed; including antibiotics being put in animal feed to prevent disease instead of treating disease
when found. This has led to antibiotic resistance and has impacted on humans by increasing resistance to disease/antibiotics.
The Research Centre will look into the impact of the above and test alternative natural methods to prevent food contamination by
medicines/chemicals. Current research has been done in Malaysia by Professor Babikian looking at poultry production and the positive effects of
reducing/ceasing antibiotics being introduced to feed which resulted in poultry farms not using antibiotics which has resulted in positive health
for the community studied. This has led to the well-known and popular “Babi” eggs which are antibiotic free.
